Ravenswood Primary School
Ravenswood is one of Newcastle’s largest Community Primary Schools, situated in extensive grounds in North Heaton. Our school caters for a wonderful cultural and social mix of children, aged 4 to 11 years, and has a three form entry in each year group. In addition to this, we have a nursery unit of 60 part time places, for children aged 3+.
Our school has a large and enthusiastic staff whose aim is to provide the highest quality learning opportunities for all pupils, within a school where high standards are expected and achieved. We feel that it is our job to teach the whole child. We do this by offering a broad and balanced curriculum and an extensive extra-curricular programme, all designed to help every pupil experience as many aspects of education as possible and to find all of the things that they excel at. Our school values the excellent parental involvement, support and co-operation that it receives, both in the education of each child and in the life of the school.
